The Vitruvian Man/dancer design was her personal choice and original design for NACE's fundraising auction, and Chai Trust's painting she based on The Grave Dancer, the iconic symbol of their founder and Chicago business legend Sam Zell.

Alcohol Ink Art Activations

Lorrisa’s live painting at Valparaiso YMCA's Y-Bash, auctioned live during the gala. Their “Derby Day” theme was challenging to incorporate in a fine art subject with broad appeal, but, inspired by Renaissance masters, Lorrisa’s “Golden Ratio” blended classical aesthetics and innovative technique never before seen in the medium. She painted one version in advance to be cured, sealed, framed, and boxed for immediate hand-off to the winning bidder, and its live-painted twin is available for purchase.

Glen Ellyn’s downtown grand opening featured a wine-themed evening, for which Lorrisa created a vintage, Toulouse-Lautrec inspired painting along with a timelapse video promoting the upcoming event. The event sponsors so loved the finished piece, they purchased both “twins,” the one cured, sealed, and framed in advance for same-day hand off, as well as the live-painted “twin” delivered later. Attendees were thrilled to get two chances to win.
